What is baseball? Baseball is a sport that consists of a bat and ball. It is a game that is played between two teams, each comprised of nine players. The main objective or the goal of the game is to score runs by hitting a thrown ball with a bat and touching a series of four markers called bases arranged at the corners of a ninety-foot square, or diamond .
